Food has always been a major part of my life. Growing up I remember my father cooking gourmet meals, and I remember admiring his natural ability in the kitchen. A self-taught chef, my father had a huge influence on my early experiments in the kitchen. Many years later, I've found myself dating a Culinary Institute trained chef, and my love for food and cooking has grown exponentially. This blog highlights homemade recipes (most courtesy of my dad), experiments of my own, and culinary adventures in NYC. And, a food blog would not be a food blog without incorporating food's other half - drinks! :)
